Who's got the 411 on this interesting 1969 performance I'm hearing for the first time just now?

Any other casual fans thrilled to hear this?

Always thrilled to hear a '69 show I've never heard before. This one is super mellow and shows off the bands tastes for the "Bakersfield" sound for lack of a better term. I'll bet Bobby Weir was watching alot of Hee Haw episodes that summer. His sound has a distinctly Buck Owens bent to it on Ol' Slewfoot (a Buck Owens song) and Green Green Grass Of Home. Jerry's guitar work reminds me of the late great Clarence White from the countrified Byrds of this era also. Clarence was a great and underrated guitar player and I would bet Jerry had listened to him back around this time. Clarence played a Fender that sounded like a pedal steel guitar and had played not only in the Byrds, but also in a band with David Grisman and Peter Rowan and also with Jerry's idol Scotty Stoneman.

After the mind melting jams of 68 through May of 1969 the band seems to have taken a step in a totally new direction that summer. I like the early High Time and He Was A Friend Of Mine from this show.
Unfortunately the band is out of tune during this show. Not a keeper, but interesting to this "casual fan".
